Red Robins is situated within the school grounds, and serves as a great introduction to life at Castle Park.

At Red Robins we provide a secure, warm, loving, environment where every child is special, and learning is fun. During an exciting morning or afternoon, we will help to develop your child’s skills within the new curriculum themes by providing exciting learning activities and giving them first-hand experiences.

Children thrive in our secure, bright and child friendly premises, where each child has the choice of developing their individual skills both inside and in our garden area which is securely fenced and gated. Red Robins is well integrated into the wider Caldicot community, and we frequently take the children to visit the Castle grounds and allotments, the village market, the library, the supermarket, and the dementia group in the church hall.

Red Robins is run by manager Gail Davies, alongside her deputy Amy Roffey. They are supported by qualified nursery assistants Rachael Ireland and Cariad Griffiths-Jones. All of the ladies are paediatric first aid trained and hold an up-to-date safeguarding certificate. They also attend various courses to enhance their knowledge within the childcare and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) sector.

Opening Times

• Morning nursery opens at 9am - 11.30am

• Afternoon nursery opens at 1.00/1.30pm - 3.30pm

• All-day sessions are offered for Monday to Thursday 9am - 3.30pm

• We offer a Lunch Club, which is a follow through session from 11.30am until 1.00pm, 5 sessions a week.

• We also offer an early morning start at 8:30am.

• We offer the 30 hours childcare offer funding. This consists of 10 hours early years funding and 20 hours from the childcare offer. Please discuss with us during a visit.
