Welcome

Headteacher’s Welcome

Annwyl Parents and Carers,

It is an absolute privilege to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of Castle Park Primary School. I feel incredibly fortunate to have joined such a happy, warm and welcoming community and am excited to build on the wonderful things already in place. My aim is to ensure that Castle Park remains a school we can all feel truly proud of—one where every child thrives and achieves their very best.

Meeting your children over the past few days has been an absolute joy. They have impressed me with their kindness, enthusiasm, and incredible work ethic. I can already see what a special group of children they are! My “golden Headteacher award” stickers are flying out the door faster than I could have imagined—a testament to their hard work and wonderful attitudes.

Getting to know you, as parents and carers, is equally important to me. I strongly believe that the best outcomes for children come when home and school work hand in hand. Together, we can create the perfect conditions for your children to flourish, both academically and emotionally.

Over the coming weeks, I will be reaching out to hear your thoughts on what makes Castle Park such a special place and to listen to your ideas on how we can make it even better. Your views really matter to me, and I look forward to working closely with you on this shared journey.

Please do feel free to come and introduce yourself if you see me at the school gate in the mornings—my door is always open. If ever there’s something you would like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to pop in, call, or email. And if it’s not the right time at that moment, I will make sure we find a time that works for us both as soon as possible.

Thank you for your warm welcome. I am truly excited for the journey ahead and all that we will achieve together for your children.

Cofion gorau,

Harriet Wadsworth
